Gutenberg Blocks for Products

    I installed WooCommerce blocks for the Gutenberg editor plugin. When I’m editing a product, or creating a new product, there’s no blocks to use for the layout and design. Looks like the old classic editor. Uhg! What’s wrong?

    I installed WooCommerce blocks for the Gutenberg editor plugin. When I’m editing a product, or creating a new product, there’s no blocks to use for the layout and design. Looks like the old classic editor. Uhg! What’s wrong?

    At the moment, WooCommerce doesn’t use the block editor which is why you don’t see the block editor when editing products.

    You may search on Google for enable block editor WooCommerce and you will find solutions for activating the Block editor for editing product pages.

    Thanks for this response. I tried a popular code and got site errors, then found WooCommerce Blocks. I misunderstood what it was for. Hoping blocks come to the products soon.

    Hey again!

    Glad to hear this is cleared up for you.

    The good news is that we are working on bringing the block editor to every aspect of WooCommerce, but it will not be something that happens immediately. We’re hoping soon, but it’s a delicate balancing act to make sure that plugins that extend WooCommerce are able to still do that.
