Guided Transfer Issues

Hello,

I paid for the guided transfer service and was told it was all done 48 hrs ago however there are several issues with the new site.

Internal post links aren’t working.
Only featured image is pulling through in blog posts.
Strange formatting on blog posts which wasn’t a problem previously….eg a whole paragraph that looks to be a link.

I’ve emailed the happiness engineers 3 times with no response. Very frustrating.

Any help is appreciated!

Hello, check if the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) is correct General Settings https://i.imgur.com/xtFxC6r.png
If it’s not a secret you could provide the URL of your site.

Hello, thanks for your response — have checked and the URL is correct….I’ve noticed that pictures don’t load, except for the feature image.

http://Www.twobackpackateers.com…..looking at the media library, it looks like less than half are properly attached now.

redirects to the correct URL
https://twobackpackateers.com/~twoback2/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/20140516-142006.jpg

It could be fixed by editing .htaccess to redirect those or changing in the post editor to the correct one.

sounds like a WordPress.com issue – if it is, please ask at http://en.forums.wordpress.com/ or try to contact http://en.support.wordpress.com/

alchymyth – I’ve contacted the wordpress.com happiness engineers 4 times now with no response, hence posting on this forum. But I’ll be sure to follow your link to try and find support through wordpress.com forums too.
