  • I installed easing slider, I would like to make a different slideshow for each page, is that possible?
I pasted the code in the header.php, perhaps I should not have done that

    thank you

Hi @zeesi, for this kind of functionality you’ll need to upgrade to our premium version of Easing Slider found here :).

in that case, to add different shows to each page should I remove the code from the header.php file?

Pasting the code in header.php will show the slideshow in the header of each page on your site. Depends if this is the effect you are looking for.

For a different slideshow on each page you’ll need to purchase Easing Slider “Pro”, which allows for more than one slideshow. You’ll potentially also need a slight bit of custom code to allow you to control which slideshow is displayed on each page, using something like Custom Fields (within the WordPress post/page editor).

hmmm, if you look at the link to my dev site the slideshow is in the right place, can I just add a specific show to the page in the editor?

the slideshow in the header of each page on my site is not what I want so I will remove the code unless you advise optherwise

do you offer documentation on setting up the custom fields?

If that isn’t what you are looking for, remove the code and forget about using Custom Fields – they won’t be needed.

If you just want to display a slideshow in a post/page, simply insert the shortcode [easingsliderlite] into the post/page. It’s as simple as that. Seems like you’ve done this correct on the dev site.

From here, if you’re looking for different slideshows on each page, you’ll need to upgrade to Easing Slider “Pro”.

one more question, can code be added to each of my image designs to link to a woocommerce page? I created each slide with 3 designs, can there be a link for each design that opens a new page?

thank you for the help and quick responses!

Hi @zeesi, if you mean linking the slides to another webpage, yes this is possible. You can do this in the “Edit Slideshow” panel by simple clicking a slide and its settings will show.

Have a look at the documentation here for more information.

what I am trying to do is have a slideshow of all the designs and then allow the client to click on the particular design which will open a new page within the site with more details of that image

That should only require you to simple link each slide to the appropriate page – please follow the advise previously mentioned.

yes, thank you, but there are 3 images per page each requiring a separate link

    That should be fine.

I am not sure where to post this question.
I have installed easing slider lite in the responsive theme, and no matter how many real slides I upload, the slider always has one more blank space – an extra blank placeholder for a slide that is not there, nor will there ever be a slide there, and when I view the page, it looks really bad to have a blank slide effect. Is there supposed to be 4 slides minimum, I dont want 4? How can I set show to just grab the 3 slides I uploaded?

Hi @webdesinz, there is no minimum slides required. Can you link me to your site? I’ll take a quick look.
