• Is there a simple CSS editor? I dont know the coding and want to sort of combine a couple of themes, take the sidebar from one and keep the main part of another.

I really have no idea if this is possible for not to be honest, but that seems like the easiest way.

(I want to add the sidebar from one to the main theme of another)

    Thanks

    Matt

  • Define “simple CSS editor”. A CSS file is just a simple plain text file, you can edit it even in Notepad. And no, there is no editor that would save you from learning the basics of CSS.
And no, you can NOT combine just like that different themes.

Hmmm, ok… I guess its back to the drawing board.

    Thanks for the tips.

What is the best CSS editor for mac? Preferably one that will give you a quick preview of what you are working on…

    I don’t know of any.
CSS in itself shows you nothing. You cannot view or “preview” it. The effects of any modifications in a CSS file can be seen only on the HTML file that is styled by that stylesheet. If you don’t know that… I guess you shouldn’t attempt to do anything with CSS.

But if you want to learn, go here: Blog_Design_and_Layout
