# Guests Posts Biography Problem

 * My site features guest posts; I can’t override my contributor account’s biography
   for my guest authors.
 * I have enabled post specific overrides by making sure that the Enable Post Specific
   Overrides setting is checked.
 * When I go to a post, there are no options to change anything to do with biography
   box.
 * I have managed to have this working before, and the posts where I have used it
   still displays the overwritten biography box – but the options to do this now
   have disappeared.
 * Please help!

 * There’s a couple of things it could be …
 * Firstly go to to _Dashboard_ -> _Settings_ -> _WP Biographia_ and click on the
   _Admin_ tab. Ensure that _Enable Post Specific Overrides_ is set in the _Biography
   Box Override Settings_ meta-box.
 * Once that’s done edit a post. Is there a meta-box towards the bottom of the Edit
   Post screen called _Biography Box Post Options_? If not, click on the S_creen
   Options_ link at the top right hand side of the Edit Post screen. In the _Show
   On Screen_ drop-down, ensure that _Biography Box Post Options_ is checked. If
   not, then check it and you should see this meta-box, with Biography Box post 
   override options towards the bottom of the screen.

 * The first step has been done, the problem I’m having is that there is no meta-
   box on the Edit Post screen called Biography Box Post Options, and it is not 
   in the Screen Options either.

 * Check the plugin’s Exclusions tab; have you set your user to have the Biography
   Box hidden under _User Hiding Settings_? If so, you won’t see the meta-box or
   the option in the Edit Post Screen Options.
