Guestbook not showing on Guestbook page

    WordPress Version: 4.9.7 and installed 6 July 2018
    Active Theme: Twenty Seventeen

    This has got to be a really simple error. I searched for existing posts and could find none. Gwolle Guestbook is installed and activated. I created a Guestbook page at https://datm.org/guestbook/ and the only content is [gwolle_gb] as instructed. All that I am seeing is a blank page.

    Can somebody please tell stupid ole me what I am doing wrong?

    Hi, that is a strange situation.
    When I look at the html source, I don’t see anything WordPress like. What I see is the page from bluehost for parked domains.
    You could check your hosting panel if there is anything for certain urls, which has a special setting.
    If you cannot find anything, I suggest you escalate to bluehost support. They probably know what is happening.

    Marcel,

    Got it figured out by you telling me to look at my hosting panel. Over five years ago, I was using another guestbook on a non-WordPress website that I authored in HTML5 in a subdomain of http://guestbook.datm.org that wrote a Public-HTML directory of /guestbook. All that I needed to do was to rename the directory to /guestbook.stop and everything started working. I’m sure you can understand why. I’ll just delete that whole directory since it is not needed anymore. Thanks for helping to get my brain in gear!
