    Hi guys,
first of all, thanks for your work and support.

I just re-tried guest mode with the latest fixes related to correct attribution of organic traffic source and that seems ok. Unfortunately though, i still experience problems with Google Analytics related to traffic measurement (basically bounce rate, pages per session and page views are all off with numbers that are not reflecting reality).

The problem is happening with G. Analytics script directly added in page code (with all the related exclusions set in “guest mode exclusions”) but also with G. Analytics added via Cloudflare Zaraz (https://developers.cloudflare.com/zaraz/).

Is this normal? There’s something that could be done to avoid this?

    Thanks

  • Not a solution for your problem, but I want to state that my Google Analytics problem seems to be solved after latest update. It shows %90+ Organic and <%10 Direct traffic now, as supposed to be.

No Analytics exclusion exist at Guest Mode JS Excludes.
I’m using SEOpress plugin for Analytics coding.

    Sincerely.

Thanks izreview! Yes, I agree, that appear to be solved.
Are your other traffic numbers ok? My page per session metric is increasing drastically (so bounce rate it’s dropping) and multiple pageviews are logged instead of just one; I’m afraid it has something to do with how guest mode works.

Maybe you can try to remove the exclusions from GM JS Excludes. This way, GM page won’t be counted on GA.

Yes, other metrics seems to be normal. Bounce rate is a bit increased today but not a big difference. Pageview numbers are also a bit decreased. May be due to war? People might prefer news sites today. Just an idea.
    Sincerely.

Tried removing the exclusions from GM JS Excludes with no success. I still get way more pageviews than expected (~45% more) and other metrics with odd values 🙁
