Settings -> Discussion -> Default article settings: check “Allow people to post comments on the article”
Thanks for the quick response, but I can’t find “settings”.
Dan
And I can’t find your WordPress blog. On the site you have in your profile you have only a blogger blog…
And haochi is completely wrong! The setting you are looking for is in Settings (or Options in older versions) > General at the Membership lines.
Top right corner, if you are using version 2.5 of WordPress, or it will be Options if you are using older versions.
@moshu
That’s not the question that she’s asking. She wants the guests be able to comment on posts w/o logging in.
The site that the WordPress blog is on is “dt-earth.com” It is on the Joyce’s corner page. And I don’t see options or settings. I don’t know what version of WordPress I have.

I don’t know what version of WordPress I have.
Then login and look at the bottom of your admin pages. All of them have the WP version displayed in the footer.
When I get into my blog, the only things to get into are along the right hand side – like “development blog” “documentations””plugins”. There is no options or settings.
