    Hi,

I have set up my form to enable Guest Post according to the picture shown (in the link).

    Check – Enable Guest Post
UnCheck – Require Name and Email address
Check – Require Email Verification for Guests

I do not need user to automatically register to the site. But I do need the user to verify his email.

I tested the form and it says a Confirmation Email is sent. However, no email is received by the user.

How do I get it to work? I do not mind editing the code.

    Thank you.

PS: I am using version 3.0.1

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

As stated, I do not want to create (register) a user profile in the backend for guest. By clicking “Require Name and Email address”, a user profile is created automatically, which is not what I intended.

    Hope you understand.

    Thanks.

    Hello @johnny18sg,

At this moment this “Require Name and Email address” is required to use the WPUF Require Email Verification for Guests feature. If you create a post without a user, then the post will not have any author and WordPress doesn’t allow having a post without an author.

    Thanks.
