Guest checkout not working

    Hi.

    I´m a klarna merchant and having issues with the plugin Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce, theme is Oceanwp. Testkeys are in place and the problem is simple, with the plugin enabled its impossible to checkout without being logged in, customer gets the message “The following fields are required: account_username account_password.” Although guests are enabled to checkout.

    The problem is consistent, and checkout works as a guest with the plugin disabled, even with other payment options enabled.

    Is there a php code snippet witch disables the login reminder or something I could try?

    Hi @vikfal,
    Please review the settings under WooCommerce->Settings->Accounts & Privacy. If “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” is checked, then “When creating an account, automatically generate a username from the customer’s email address” & “When creating an account, automatically generate an account password” should also be checked. Otherwise please uncheck “Allow customers to create an account during checkout”.

    Klarna Checkout cannot fill out the account creation data for a customer during checkout, so account creation during checkout needs to either be done automatically for the customer or not required when using Klarna Checkout.

    I understand the problem. Auto generated user information is not ideal but I understand the limitations and how it works now.
