On this website: http://ark.santhoshhn.com I have added Gtranslate plugin. It works fine when I change the language to Arabic or English on desktop mode and try to access inner pages go back to previous page the language remains which I selected. However, the problem starts when I do the same on mobile. If I toggle language to arabic and tries to go inside pages and come back to previous page the language automatically changes back to english eventhough the language still selected arabic. This is really annoying. I am seeking for help by the developer of this plugin or anyone who has fixed this bug in the past please kindly respond.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Do I need to press the back button on the browser or just navigate to the previous link?

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hello sir,

    On the browser: https://prnt.sc/Pe1tAJGodqzL

When we click on the back button, the language turns back to English, even though the language still selected as Arabic: https://prnt.sc/w2PmW45beBlo

It should remain Arabic. Request you to kindly check on this and let me know the solution to fix this.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I see that when I hit back button there is no request going to load the previous page. The page is being loaded from the cache and no javascript functions are fired.

It seems that your website uses some specific caching logic. You need to disable that, so that the page is being reloaded when you use back/forward browser button.

Alternatively you can use our paid version which does not use javascript for translations.

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi,

I have disabled all the plugins and even theme. But issue still persists. Could you please check and let me know how it can be fixed?
You can reload the website: http://ark.santhoshhn.com/
    & check in mobile view.
    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi,

As explained earlier you need to make sure that your page reload when someone uses browser back/forward buttons. It is related to cache. You can try to disable cache with Cache-Control: no-cache response header and see how it works. If that solves the issue you need to find a way to have website server level cache and the same time disallow browser to cache the page. I cannot guide you through the process, since our free version support is limited.

If you want a quick solution, please use our paid version and it will be fine out of the box.

    Thanks! 🙂
