    Hello @seancraig44,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Our plugin creates a field for GTIN in both simple and variation items. You can find this field in a variation item. To ensure that the GTIN value appears on the feed, you need to first populate the variations with the GTIN number here and then regenerate the feed with the GTIN field.

If you are still not seeing the GTIN value on the feed, please check that you have added the GTIN value to the item. To do this, you can take a product ID that does not include the GTIN value on the feed, open it from the WooCommerce list, and check if you have added the GTIN value to the item.

If the above does not address your issue, please provide us with more information and some reference, so we can better understand the problem.

    Best regards,

hello, the same thing is happening to me in the variation area. I added the GTIN number but it still wouldnt populate in google

    Hi@carlacookiebox

Please, make sure if the feed contains the GTIN for all the variations.
For further instructions, please, reach us with the below resources –

    • Feed link
    • Screenshot of the free configuration(use dropbox)
    • Take a variation ID as reference and show us where you have added the GTIN with a screenshot
    • Let us know the variation item ID so we can check in the feed
    • Error report from google that show the missing GTIN error. Download the error report from Diagnostic and send us the file.

Once we have all the above resources, we will be able to check what could be the possible reason behind missing GTIN in GMC.

    Best regards,

Hi @ansarybadal . I have included a video in which I show that I already have a GTIN field for each item. I have populated this for every variation. That GTIN field is also tagged for rich snippet. I have mapped that field to the GTIN in the CTX feed configuration. It would be preferable to use this GTIN field, as it is already part of the ecosystem. Can I map to this one, as shown in the video I shared with you?

No, there is no GTIN field displaying from CTX Feed app. However,I don’t think this is needed, as there is already an existing GTIN field for each variation, and I have already mapped this field, as you can see in the video i provided.

Does this help explain the issue?

…off topic, but I bet it would take you 15 minutes to make CTX Feed work with Odoo. We could use it there too.
The existing extensions are $100 USD one-time fee. May be worth your while.

Hey @ansarybadal just following up. Did that info help find the issue? I’m happy to PM you credentials to a staging copy if need be.

We have the same exact issue. If you map GTIN from Rank Math or from Google Shopping & Ads plugins, both of which already contain a GTIN, the feed outputs absolutely nothing from either field on any variable products. The feed ONLY outputs GTIN on simple products.
