 * Hello [@fitnessdad](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fitnessdad/) thanks for
getting in touch. Looking at your site I can see that you don’t have Site Kit
active and it hasn’t placed your Analytics code for you. We are limited to Site
Kit support here so if the plugin hasn’t placed the code then you will need to
find this and remove it if you do not wish to have it on your site.
 * If you have deactivated all plugins on your site then it has most likely been
placed manually on your site. Checking your source code I can see it is placed
within the `<head>` tag so I would check your header.php file to see if you can
find it here. We are unable to help further with that as it falls out of the
scope of the Site Kit plugin support.
 * You could also check this with your hosting provider who may be able to help
you locate where this is or how it is being placed.
 * Hope this helps you to locate the script and please let me know if you have any
Site Kit plugin related questions I can further help with.

 * It only appeared after installing the site kit by Google and now I would like
   a solution to remove it.

 * [@fitnessdad](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fitnessdad/) If you used Site
Kit to place your Analytics snippet but have since deactivated the plugin as
I can see you have then this should remove any snippet placement.
 * When setting up Site Kit on your site can I ask if you connected an existing
property when connecting the Analytics module or did you use Site Kit to create
   a new property?
 * Could I also please ask you to share your [Site Health Information](https://imgur.com/Rtkmsba)
   privately via [this form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lhjns2K7c0Ny7ME4gxTcsnYtNUtcMr8BvFpPQi23Y1E/edit)
so that I can check your setup to see if anything stands out here.
 * If you also re-install Site Kit and connect once more to the property G-2MZCPNN59W,
do you then see this property placed twice on your site and does selecting to
have Site Kit not place this snippet make any difference? You can do this from**
Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services > Analytics > Edit**.

 * As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open
   a [new support topic](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/google-site-kit/#new-post)
if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to
   assist.
