gtag.js vs gtag.js beta?

    ga.js has been deprecated so long I removed it from CAOS. Now it’s analytics.js, gtag.js V4 (and although Google Analytics says it’s stable, I strooongly disagree :-)) and gtag.js V3.

    Both analytics.js and gtag.js V3 will be discontinued as of June/July this year, so this option will be removed entirely. However, I strongly hope Google will have gotten their act together then. I still see parameters not working, being fixed, and then not working again. The Measurement Protocol isn’t reliable at all, too.

    So, exciting times. Let’s see! 😉
