When adding the Groups shortcode to my build it doesn’t render anything. The area just shows empty in my browser and in the course code.

I do get an error related to the following file:
    /football-pool/assets/pool.css.map:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

I am unable to view Groups at all, on the standard template provide with plugin or my own page with shortcode.

Is there a setting I may have missed, extra plugin I need or could this be a bug? (I’ve also noticed this disappeared on older sites I set up for World Cup). See links below for reference:

Can you check the pages section of the plugin options? If there is no page selected, you can set it to the page that you are now using.

p.s. You can ignore the 404 on the pool.css.map file. That file is for debugging only and not supplied in the plugin zip.

Thanks Antoine, I went to the pages section and swapped the groups pages between your original template and my new page. Did this a few times and both still show nothing.

Renamed the page titles so you can better understand.

Groups (original) – your included template:
    https://url.dev/amzeKMp/

Groups (shortcode) – standard page with shortcode added:
    https://url.dev/m/TYP47dm/

For reference, here is the shortcodes added:

    [fp-group id=1]

    Some screen shots to help?

And you know for sure that you have a group with ID 1? You can check the ID’s by going to the Groups admin page and hover over the lines in the overview.

    Yes, see attached.

I imported your latest match fixtures from a clean install. So everything is what was in your file.

Do you get any errors related to my plugin in your debug.log?

Antoine, I just upgraded my site to WordPress 6.5 and the group shortcodes all work now. Seems like it may have been an issue with the last version of WordPress?

I didn’t have logs turned on, but have turned them on now. I will keep an eye on it should it happen again.

Can’t really imagine a problem with a single WP version. Usually themes are the culprit. So, maybe it was a combination of WP version and your theme because I guess that the theme was also updated after your WP upgrade.

Anyway, good to hear that it is working again.
