Support » Plugin: Private groups » Groups or forum grouping? Sub groups?

    Hi there. Interesting plugin!

I wanted to get some clarification on the term “forum groups”? Do the forum groups have a “homepage” of sorts with forum activity? Can I add custom fields or display posts to the “homepage”? OR is this plugin more for grouping (logical/backend/data structure) rather than a group (community/social)?

I would like to allow groups to be members of other groups, or create subgroups with parent/child relationships. Ideally these groups could have their own homepage/activity view too. Can this be accomplished with this plugin?

Does this plugin integrate with Buddypress/ProfileGrid etc? And if so, how do they compare the group functions in each? Both plugins support BBPress and groups, so I’m curious to see how this plugin fits in.

plugin is designed to work with bbpress, and be a way to control who sees what forum. It is not designed as a social group plugin.

    It generally works with buddypress.

No idea on ProfileGrid as I’ve not used that.
