Support » Plugin: Hustle Marketing, Social Share, Email Opt-in Form, and Popup Plugin » Groups – choosing the group to which a subscriber will be added

Hi there, the slide-in that I’m using to get people to subscribe has a drop-down menu imported from MailChimp (i.e., it’s not in the form designer!). NO one actually uses it! (Though one, thankfully, has filled out the Interests text field). I wanted to customize the popup so that subscribers are automatically added to a group anyway, depending on which page they respond to the Opt-in.

So I created a popup that is only on two products, two posts. Funnily enough, it does not import the drop-down list for Groups from MailChimp. However, I don’t know where or how I’d change the code to choose the Group that that popup opt-in would imply.

Do you have some documentation about using Hustle with list groups?

  • BTW, I just noticed in MailChimp that I can have a hidden group with subgroups, so I have transferred all my groups to a hidden one, and deleted the old. So that will change things. Nonetheless, I’ve set the default group to opt them into with the plugin – so I’ve answered my own question. I’ll need one popup for one product page, and another popup for another product page. That’s ok though.

    Hey there @janerette,

    I’m glad you’ve sorted that out! 🙂

    Take care,
