Groups and options – what is that !?!?

Hi,
Trying to figure out what this plugin is doing and run into the 1st issue: there’s no way in the world I can understand how did you mean those “Options” when creating a user group, to be used.

If I create a user group and click save, the options tab disappears altogether. For good! If I later on click on the edit link for the user group, there’s no trace of those options anymore. What’s that ??!

Furthermore, if when creating a group I first click on the options I am able to select the ones I want, but there’s no hint if they are saved and will be applied to the group which will be created ?!?

And where does it show which options are chosen for each user group? How on Earth can I know later on which is what !?

I have more custom post types and I would want to assign different user groups for each custom post type. Is that possible? If yes, HOW?
And where will the information be shown later on, so that I’ll eventually be able to modify it !?
