• It seems that there’s no way to group different type into a single gallery (i.e. image + inline + iframe, etc.).

Even when you define a section in the Auto Gallery settings, only the images get the appropriate rel=”” tags.

Also, when disabling the Auto Gallery, and manually inserting ones own rel=”gallery” or some such tag, it also does not work to group the items into a single gallery.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Michael

Actually, when trying to do it manually, it starts to work, but then crashes the overlay necessitating a page refresh.

I’m trying to combine images and iframes containing library videos into the same gallery.

The thing is that in case of gallery browsing, the script, expecting a gallery to consist of images only, tries to preload the next image. This results in an error when it turns out to be other content…

The current development version has been adapted to allow youtube galleries, and the fix might also work for other / mixed galleries. Could you try replacing your current plugin files with the ones from the dev zip https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/easy-fancybox.zip ?

Disabling “Auto Gallery” and manually inserting my own rel=”gallery-1″ to each link does now seem to work, which is great.

Should it, or could it work with the Auto Gallery setting? That’d be preferable.

Is there a setting for the YouTube galleries? Or are you just doing that via Auto Gallery?

BTW, here’s a screenshot of the two versions (Free and Pro) that I’m using, and I’m getting an incompatibility notice on. Are these the latest?

Just confirmed that enabling Auto Gallery again does still allow the manual one I’d entered the rel tags on to work still.

So, it seems like if you did lay in the rel tags on all fancy box tagged in a given Section should work with mixed image, YouTube and iFrame items.

The Pro dev version is not the latest. What is the exact notice you get?

Auto-gallery to include other media like youtube is not implemented yet. I’ll consider this as a feature request 🙂

Okay. This was the one you’d emailed me the other day (I’m also testing the cookied overlays). Is there a newer one you can send me then, or is it available on the Pro site?

Actually. I just had to removed the development versions on the site I was working for the multi-gallery issue, as I was getting a white screen after login now. removing and re-insalling the release version fixed that. I then re-installed the dev regular version, which seem to be working.

    Yes. Please do!

I just saw your mail. Will send latest version 🙂

Is that the free plugin dev version that produced this white screen of death? If so, did you catch any related errors in your server/hosting log files? I’d like to know 🙂

I had both the Free and Pro dev versions I’d mentioned installed when I’d gotten the white screen.

I’ll email you the error log tom yesterday.
