    Hello! I saw a comment from 2021 from one of the itthinx developers saying:

    “we’re working on extending Groups to a more fine-grained capability management where things like a group-specific permissions will be possible. E.g. a group manager could add and remove members from a group he controls.”

    Is there any update on this functionality? This is the exact functionality we require, but I don’t currently see a way to implement with this plugin (without writing the entire functionality on top of it)

    Hi Adam,

    That is indeed a work in progress, but not something we could already share yet. One of my concerns is performance – it has to scale well, while providing a high amount of flexibility. Not easy.

    I’m gathering insights from tests of a variety of more or less related projects, and it can get pretty demanding … for example, take WooCommerce shops that have +100k products and +100k customers.

    If you would like to share a rough outline of the parts related to fine-grained permissions that you need, that would certainly be helpful to take into account. The more feedback and requests related to this we get, the better.
