[resolved] Group Documents icon redundant in loggedin members profile/activity (5 posts)

    When BP_GROUP_DOCUMENTS_IS_INSTALLED the Group Documents icon appears in the loggedin /members/*****/activity

    This should not be the case as Group Documents uploads are redundant in profiles.

    Can some code be added so that this icon does not appear in the loggedin /members/*****/activity ???

    "Round the houses 20 times and back" very temporary solution

    function add_bpgroupdoctyles() {
    global $current_user, $wpdb;
    $pageurl = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
    if (strpos($pageurl,'members') !== false) {
    <style type="text/css">
     #bpfb_addDocuments {
    display:none !important;
    }//End if ( $pageurl !== false ){
    add_action('wp_head', 'add_bpgroupdoctyles');

    a bit over the top !!

    Hi @valuser

    Aren't there some classes added to the body for this? I don't know without looking at your site, but on my test install it adds 'my-activity' to the body tag, meaning that you could just add this to your theme's stylesheet:

    .my-activity #bpfb_addDocuments {
    display: none !important;

    Does this do the trick?

    It does indeed do the trick!

    Never underestimate my stupidity!

    Many thanks.

    Marking this as resolved
