• I would like to have four different AVH Extended Category widgets showing in a widget section.

I would like each of them to have a different parent category with all the child categories. So for example, let’s say we are asking people to select desserts. the first widget might show “Ice Cream” and the sub-categories would be “Chocolate, strawberry, vanilla”. The next one might be Cakes (sub-categories: cupcakes, red velvet, coconut cake, etc…).

I can do this with the Extended Categories, BUT I don’t want to because I want the text in the first item of the popup list to say the name of the category (e.g. Ice Cream, next one: Cake). You can’t seem to do this with the extended categories because they all need to say one thing as programmed in options (and I do not want a widget title, so that method doesn’t work for me.

When I use the Extended Categories Group widget, it simply does not show up at all on my site. Please advise.

My site is Sceneandheard.com and this is the page where I am trying to add it:
