I am considering developing a paid addon at some point that would address this and a number of other popular requests (i.e. cron jobs to automatically update albums, photos for events, liking photos, etc) – but unfortunately, I don’t have plans for adding any more free features at this time. It’s just become too much of an uphill battle with Facebook constantly breaking things and removing APIs, with users demanding free support, and just generally detracting endlessly from other paid projects. I know it sucks, and I was sad to see group albums go too – But I’ve spent many days just re-implementing features that were working, so it reached a point where I had to cut my losses and say “keep the plugin going, but when Facebook ruins an auxiliary feature by breaking an API, it is what it is.”
