Support » Theme: Pinboard » Grid issue with different post types

  • I am using a the “All-In-One Event Calendar” on my Pinboard-themed blog, and are trying to get the calendar events into the standard news feed.
    I found this code, that were able to put the events on the frontpage, like a normal blog post:

    add_filter( 'pre_get_posts', 'my_get_posts' );
    function my_get_posts( $query ) {
    	if ( ( is_home() && $query->is_main_query() ) || is_feed() )
    		$query->set( 'post_type', array( 'ai1ec_event', 'post' ) );
    	return $query;

    But the problem is that the ai1ec_event and the default post doesn’t adjust to each other. The calendar events lies somehow behind the blog posts. Is there some way to make these custom post types (in this case the calendar events), and the normal posts to adjust to each other in the Pinboard grid?

    In this case I’m talking about the calendar event from All-in-one Event Calendar, but I’ve understood that this is an issue for other post types too.
