• Hi All

The company I work for has been using a blog mainly as an SEO tool to link build and have articles syndicated.

    the blog is
    blog.lombok.co.uk

If the blog was being scanned properly wouldn’t the links from the article posts be being picked up so when I do a link search on Google it should appear and be building up inbound links?

I can’t see any noindex or nofollow tags in the code.
Where the articles have been syndicated I can see the inbound links from other sites but not our own.

The page rank for the main blog page is 2, but the article pages and posts are all showing up as greyed out or just a – (depending on which tool i use to view the PR.

    What is being done wrong?!

  • As far as I know, we can only see pageranks of primary domains. I don’t think we can see each post’s pagerank.

Besides, Google has some secret algorithms when it comes to pagerank (to avoid abuse). They aim to make sure that those who possess high pagerank are those who deliver value to society, not those with (only) superb techie skills.
