 * Hi Ian,
 * Thanks for the update.
 * I’ve had a look at your checkout page, and it’s currently using the legacy (classic)
   WooCommerce checkout. The latest versions of the Monek Checkout plugin (v4.1.
   x) support **WooCommerce Blocks Checkout only**, so they won’t work with the
   legacy checkout.
 * To use the latest version of the plugin, you’ll need to migrate your checkout
   page to use [WooCommerce Blocks](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-store-editing/blocks).
 * If you’re unable to switch to WooCommerce Blocks at the moment, you’ll need to
   remain on v4.0.5 until you’re able to migrate your checkout.
 * I’ve attached our plugin documentation, which explains the setup process. [Monek docs](https://docs.monek.com/TransactDirect/shopping-cart-plugins/woocommerce/)
 * Kind regards,
 * Monek team

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for confirming.
 * When I checked your website, the checkout page was still using the legacy WooCommerce
   checkout. The WooCommerce Checkout block doesn’t appear to be enabled on that
   page.
 * Could you let me know exactly what changes you made when you switched to Blocks?
   For example:
    - Did you replace the checkout page with the WooCommerce Checkout** **block?
    - Or did you simply enable WooCommerce blocks in the plugin settings?
 * As a test, I’d recommend creating a **new checkout page** (checkout-2) and building
   it using the WooCommerce Checkout block. The Monek payment method should then
   appear and work on that page. Once confirmed, you can replace your current checkout
   page with this new block-based version.
 * Thanks,
 * Monek

 * Hi.
 * Tried this on a staging site
 * looks like some of the other plugins don’t yet support the woocommerce blocks
 * the page editor is advising me to switch to classic checkout

 * Hi Ian,
 * Thanks for the update.
 * Unfortunately, the latest versions of the Monek Checkout plugin (v4.1.x and above)
   support **WooCommerce Blocks Checkout only** and are not compatible with the
   legacy checkout.
 * For the time being, you’ll need to remain on **v4.0.5**, as this is the latest
   version that supports the legacy checkout. Once you’re able to migrate your site
   to WooCommerce Blocks Checkout, you’ll be able to upgrade to the latest version
   of the Monek plugin. Please make sure to disable the auto-update feature for
   the plugin to prevent it from being upgraded to a newer version.

 * Hi. Thanks. I have now found a way to get the blocks working on my checkout page
   and have updated the plugin successfully.
 * The express checkout area only shows apple pay.
 * Is there an option to have google pay as well?

 * Hi Ian,
 * Great to hear you managed to get Woo Blocks checkout working and update the plugin
   successfully.
 * Regarding Google Pay, this is something we are planning to support in a future
   release of the Monek Checkout plugin. At the moment, the Express Checkout section
   only supports Apple Pay.
 * We’ll share updates as soon as Google Pay becomes available.
 * Thanks,
 * Monek

 * HI.
 * I tested the Checkout using apple pay
 * The thank you page says i paid with Paypal
 * The order confirmation emails to vendor an d customer both say i paid with Paypal
 * The order details in woocommerce says paypal
 * but the order notes in woocommerce refers to ‘express payment’
 * The transaction appears in the Monek portal transactions list so that’s good –
   but it just says card payment though with no reference to apple pay.
 * would you like to see screenshots?
 * I have client and customers complaining – did anyone test this plugin before
   it was launched?
 * regards

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for taking the time to test this and for providing feedback.
 * The issue where the WooCommerce thank you page, and order details show **PayPal**
   instead of the actual payment method is a known issue. This happens because WooCommerce
   isn’t updating the payment method correctly for Express Checkout payments. We’ll
   be addressing this in an upcoming plugin update by explicitly setting the correct
   payment method during the checkout flow.
 * Regarding the Monek Portal, transactions made using Apple Pay are currently displayed
   as **Card Payment**. At the moment, the portal doesn’t distinguish between standard
   card payments and Apple Pay transactions. Improving the visibility of the actual
   payment method is on our roadmap, and we plan to address this in a future update.
 * I appreciate you highlighting these issues. We did test the plugin prior to release,
   but your feedback has helped identify areas where the integration with WooCommerce
   can be improved, and we’ll be working to resolve them as quickly as possible.
 * Kind reagards,
 * Monek

 * Hi
 * one more little problem is that in the portal, transaction screen
 * the name of the customer doesn’t show when paid by apple pay
 * Also just realised the customer name just says ‘No Name’ in the transactions
   details page
 * can something be done about this quickly as it makes it difficult to reconcile
   orders
 * regards

 * Hi Ian,
 * Regarding the customer name, this is expected behaviour with Apple Pay. Apple
   Pay doesn’t reliably expose the cardholder’s name, and therefore the portal can’t
   display information it doesn’t receive. As a result, these transactions currently
   appear as **“No Name”**.
 * On a positive note, we’ve just deployed a new version of the plugin, and it should
   be available on WordPress.org shortly. This update fixes the issue where Express
   Checkout payments were showing the wrong payment method on the WooCommerce thank
   you page, order confirmation emails, and in the WooCommerce admin order details.
 * Best regards,

 * Hi.
 * Thank you for your reply
 * i would like to point out though that in the portal transactions summary and
   details pages there’s nothing to identify the customer apart from a time and
   amount
 * isn’t it possible to at least use the WooCommerce order ID?
 * regards

 * Hi Ian,
 * Thanks for the suggestion.
 * Although the Monek Portal doesn’t currently display the WooCommerce order id,
   the plugin generates a unique **customer reference** for each transaction that
   starts with **`MNK-`**. The reference is propagated through the payment flow
   and can be found both in the Portal transaction details and in the WooCommerce
   order notes, allowing you to correlate the transaction with the corresponding
   WooCommerce order.
 * We appreciate your feedback regarding displaying the WooCommerce order id directly
   in the portal. We’ll certainly take this into consideration for a future enhancement,
   as we understand it would make reconciliation even easier.
 * Thanks again for all your valuable feedback.
 * Best regards,
   Monek

 * Hi
 * The order notes do not show the customer reference
 * We just had to refund a transaction because we could not identify the order
 * no name, no order id, just an amount that doesn’t match any order
 * my client also informs me that every AMEX order is being declined now
 * in the old portal we could see why a transaction was declined, and indeed what
   security checks it had passed
 * regards
 * ian
