When you select the non-default “Keep links static once inserted” option in your settings, the options table is used to store the information for each post.
You can remove all IRP_POST entries from the options table simply by unchecking this option.
We’ve tried to advise all users of this side effect by including this warning: “(this setting increases the load on your database)“. I’m sorry you did not see this.

In the admin dashboard, go to “Settings >> Inline Related Posts”.
In the “Settings” tab, about halfway down the page, you will find a checkbox that says “Keep links static once inserted (this setting increases the load on your database).“
This checkbox is unset by default.
