Gregs SEO, Minimatica and Titles

Hello, new here and not very techie.

I have a minimatica site with greg’s high performance seo plugged in and it all seems fine but I want to have two titles – one for users and one for SEO.

my site is at http://www.markbradfordphotography.co.uk. A recent post as an example is “Wedding: Suzy and Glynn”. I’d like the on-page title to stay like that but for the title in the <title> tag to be different, e.g. “Wedding photography at Elvetham Hotel”.

I thought that was what the seocndary title stuff was for, I’ve either not understood it (v. likely) and/or it isn’t supported by minimatica without a hack of some sort. I’ve tried to follow all of the php in the theme but I just can’t fathom it

Any help would be really appreciated

    Thanks

    mark

    Hi mark,

Yep, that’s what secondary titles are for — they can be placed where you’d like them on the page using GHPSEO’s template tag. The ‘Instructions’ tab on the plugin’s admin interface has more details.

    All the best,
    Greg
