Green check mark inside essay answer

    I have several quizzes with open-ended essay questions. For these, I left the possible answers all blank. In the final screen (with %%ANSWERS%%), the user’s answer always has a green check-mark overlapping with the user’s response instead of next to it.

    Is there a way to either move or remove the green checkmark?

    I’m sorry, this is by design. Such questions are always counted correctly answered.

    The location of the green check-mark is strange, though. When there is no correct answer, the check-mark appears to overlap with the last two characters of the user’s response. But when the user’s response matches a correct answer, the green check-mark appears to the right of the user’s response.
