    You can try add this ‘orderby=name’ to wqsf-widget.php line 51.

    from
    $terms = get_terms($v['taxname'],'hide_empty='.$v['hide'].'');
    to something like this:
    $terms = get_terms($v['taxname'],'orderby=name&hide_empty='.$v['hide'].'');

    I don’t sure if this work with Greek, but if you set your wp with utf8 then it should be fine.

    Thank you for your quick reply but although my wp is set with utf8, this solution didn’t work 🙁
    Is there anything else I can do?
    Thanks in advance.

    Maybe you should play around with get_terms api.
    Here is the link

    Hope this helps.

    I added ‘orderby=slug’ to wqsf-widget.php line 51.
    I used english characters for my slugs but didn’t work.
    All my event-tags are listed by the order i create them.
    Maybe i need to add ‘orderby=slug’ anywhere else too in wqsf-widget.php?
    Thank you in advance.

    Are u using the shortcodes or sidebar widget to display the search form? Because the above solution work with the sidebar widget only.

    I’m using the sidebar widget and your solution doesn’t work 🙁
