Greater Than > Sign is Automatically Removed from YOAST SEO Title

Hi,
I want to create a SEO title with greater than and smaller than signs. For instance:
The <best> products on the market
I am using the YOAST SEO plugin to create SEO titles.
I tried “The <best> products on the market” as suggested here: https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_entities.asp
That works fine within the text of my post, but the title is automatically changed to “The products on the market” after updating the post.
Is there a way how I could include < and > into my SEO titles?
