Great way to put a site into Maintenance mode or create a coming soon page

I’ve used this plugin on multiple sites and for a variety of reasons (at at times have actually paid for the pro version even though I don’t have a need at the moment for the extra bells and whistles.)

That said, this is the best plugin I’ve found to:
1) Take a site properly quickly into Maintenance mode (503 redirect which is proper for SEO) with some company info still showing to the public so you can work on a site on a server. (There are some things that have to be done on the server and can’t be done on a staging server. Like ending up with a new client who’s site was hacked … I didn’t have backups of their site because they hadn’t worked with me before.)
2) Easy coming soon page options as well (this is not the same as a 503 redirect.)

The free plugin is really full featured and gets the job done. The paid version of the plugin gives you even more features and control should you have something more elaborate that you need to QUICKLY accomplish with either your maintenance mode page or coming soon page.

Why reinvent the wheel when someone created something quick and easy to use that fits a variety of needs?
