Even though plugin seems great, with great UX/UI, it doesn’t work. I’m trying to update assetlinks.json file, but nothing gets updated upon enabling it and saving changes.

Sorry to hear that!

Some hosting environments might not support/allow writing to files in the .well-known directory. It might be worth trying to get in touch with your hosting support and asking about this!

Hi Jono,

it’s hosted on WordPress.com, and I found this: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/assistance-with-serving-well-known-assetlinks-json-on-wordpress/#post-4070815

So, it seems that you are right, it’s not possible to change assetlinks.json on WordPress.com, even with your plugin.

Ack, that’s frustrating. Sorry, I’ll make that clearer in the docs!
