•
We build and manage campaigns for multiple clients through one account. It’s reliable and easy to use. Everything works no matter the website. I just wish we had the same control in mobile that we do for desktop in the same campaign. You can build a mobile campaign that is optimized for a smaller screen, but then you have to create a separate campaign for desktop and vice versa.

EDIT: I should add that optinmonster has good support, they usually respond to email within the hour and have almost always had a solution or workaround to whatever issue we were working on.

  • Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with the community, @justinemorales 😊. I’m glad to hear you’re finding OptinMonster easy to use, and I appreciate your feedback on the mobile experience.

It’s true, we do recommend following industry standards by creating separate campaigns for mobile and desktop visitors.

The single most important reason to do this is that visitor behavior is different on each device. When you have separate campaigns for mobile and desktop, not only can you more effectively target your offers based on behavior, but you also get more accurate stats when reporting on campaign performance.

That said, here are two tips to make creating mobile campaigns easier:

Tip 1: Convert your desktop campaigns to a mobile-optimized template.

You can convert any existing campaign to be mobile-only by duplicating your desktop campaign and enabling the mobile pop-up option. See more on this here.

Tip 2: If you’d like to save time and show one campaign to both types of visitors, mimic the mobile experience.

Campaigns that work the best on desktops and mobile devices have content more vertically stacked rather than lots of columns where content may shift on smaller devices.

    Thanks again!
