Hello, thanks for using our plugin and your feedback.
Our plugin has no direct connection to the Super Page Cache plugin or its preloading process.
What our plugin does is, it reaches to your website through Webshare’s proxy servers via the Cloudflare worker, which in return causes that particular URL to get cached at that specific Cloudflare Edge location.
The main goal here preload as much URLs of your website as possible on different locations. This helps with improved TTFB (time to first byte) from users accessing your site through that Edge location.
Super Page Cache’s preloading is local to your web server and is a page cache on the disk.
Hi there,
Thanks for your prompt response and kind words.
Well, I have enabled Cloudflare caching in the Super Page Cache plugin, using the global api key. Hope no issues. Well, I haven’t seen any problems so far. Do you advice I disable that and leave only disk cache?
No, it’s better to use Cloudflare for page caching together with the disk cache.
Also, you can use our plugin for preloading edge locations when Cloudflare cache is enabled.
You can read more details at this blog post: https://wpfixfast.com/blog/preload-cloudflare-cache/
Great! Thanks again once more. So far it is working well.
Though I am unable to change the IPs to specific regions since I am on the free plan of the proxy server, it is still very good.
