# Great theme

 * Astra is a great, fairly lightweight, and flexible theme, with good support if
   you purchase the Pro version.
 * It can work with page builders like Elementor, although to a certain extent they
   can conflict since the page builders add so many additional CSS & JS files. But
   that is more an issue with how page builders work. I have not tested Astra with
   Gutenberg as my layout builder, so I can’t say whether it is better with that.
 * It seems to be well-coded, without a lot of unnecessary extras. There are bonus
   parts in the Astra plugin, if you have Pro, but I have found they can slow the
   site down, especially on the Appearance screen, so I deactivated them in favor
   of just using Astra’s basic theme + the Elementor Pro theme editor.
