• Tested using PHP version 8.2

    Pros (why it’s not 1 star)
    * I like the configurations you can make
    * It’s very simple to use
    * It’s seemingly lightweight
    * Ajax works

    cons:
    note: most of these cons happen when you use multiple filter widgets on one page.
    If you have one filter widget with all your filters on that one widget, you may not experience these issues.
    * Price filter has one handle, so the sliders don’t work, but you can manually input price caps with text
    * If you set a price, all attribute counts are changed to zero
    * If you have a clear all filters that is disjointed, your filters will be removed but your attribute check marks will not be removed. Also, input price caps won’t be reset.
    * If you filter by an attribute and then a sort-by, your attributes will get reset but the checks will stay.

    Hello @shepherddowling,

    Thanks for your review!

    We always welcome constructive criticism, but for the most part the “cons” you listed are caused by incorrect configuration.

    Let’s go through each point:

    “note: most of these cons happen when you use multiple filter widgets on one page.”

    Product Filter by WBW was initially designed in such a way that the user does not need to use more than one filter widget on the page, since in any case these are additional initializations that no one needs.

    Situations where the use of multiple widgets are justifiably quite rare, for example, when you need to distribute some of the filter sections to different parts of the page, for such configurations we have added functionality for synchronizing several individual widgets, so that multi widgets work correctly, the synchronization option must be activated in all filters on the page.

    You should not use many widgets without a real need, if you have a question related to how to get certain functionality without multi widgets, contact our support: https://woobewoo.com/contact-us/

    Read more: https://woobewoo.com/documentation/synchronizing-multiple-filters-on-a-page/

    ” If you set a price, all attribute counts are changed to zero”

    ” If you have a clear all filters that is disjointed, your filters will be removed but your attribute check marks will not be removed. Also, input price caps won’t be reset.”

    “If you filter by an attribute and then a sort-by, your attributes will get reset but the checks will stay.”

    This happens (all three issues) due to the fact that you have not enabled synchronization in the filters.

    ” Price filter has one handle, so the sliders don’t work, but you can manually input price caps with text”

    This is most likely due to the fact that you are using a custom product widget that is very different from the standard one, try activating the “Force theme template” option, if that doesn’t help, then you need to configure the product block manually in the filter settings: https://woobewoo.com/documentation/ enable-ajax/
    If this does not help, contact our support: https://woobewoo.com/contact-us/

    If you have any additional questions regarding the listed or any other issues, we are waiting for you at our support service.
