• Great pre-2.0 release, but worthless since.
Only install this now if you want your logs stored in the cloud on a third-party service (and want to pay for it). I can see the 2.0 update as a nice option, for those who want it, but I wouldn’t require users to sign up for accounts like this. Seems to be subscription grabbing. Was this the strategy from the get-go? To monetize the plugin like this? A roadmap would have been nice.

Much better now. I was finally able to re-evaluate this plugin and I like it much better now. Very helpful and useful. I have always been surprised that this functionality is not built into core. Thanks for providing a great plugin and thank you even more for responding to your users.

  • Hi Circlecube,

With Stream 3.0, we’ve rethought the way we’re handling the records. Everything’s local now, nothing stored in the cloud and no registration.

It would be great if you could test it out, and let me know how you go. If you like it, please consider changing your review.

Also, we do have a roadmap now: https://github.com/xwp/stream-roadmap/

    Thanks,
    Luke

Yes, I’m interested in checking it out when I have some time.

I’ve been loving simple-history lately though, and don’t have/see a need to switch.

Simple History is great. Keep using it if it does the job!

Still, I really hope you’re able to take another look at your review, since we addressed the issue in a pretty major way.
