• **UPDATE: After several months of trying to make this plugin work for us, it simply was not worth the investment or the headaches any more. I still believe it could be good eventually, but right now, I can not recommend it.

The only way to get support for this plugin is to post to their forums where you will hear from someone who knows BC, or WP.. but not both. Not the plugin. This plugin has cleaned up a lot of its issues over the last several months, but it’s only now where it should have been at release, and we simply cannot afford to keep waiting around for the functionality that we needed to be available months ago.

It still gives web designers next to no flexibility on page layout, and is has several other issues that really need to be solved for even someone who just wants a brand new website and is OK with being completely locked into BC’s layout and CSS.**

I think the BigCommerce plugin has amazing potential and I’m excited to see where it goes. I give it only two stars at the moment because it doesn’t offer a ton of functionality within the plugin – specifically with customization. It’s not flexible at all from a design standpoint and there isn’t any documentation on using custom CSS. It also appears to cause issues with various other plugins and themes, and it’s difficult to get good support from the developers.
