• Update:
I wanted to give this plugin another chance with a project I’m working on. Another shortfall I came across as I was configuring the site to work with the mega menu. The plugin requires you to create a new menu item in for mega menu feature to work. Basically I can’t assign my existing menu items to mega menu and need to create new ones to replace. A competing plugin allows you to set any existing menu to a mega menu. Talk about good user workflow.

I wanted to give this mega menu a try for a project and got it working nicely up to one point. Then I ran into issues with responsive menu for mobile view. Quad menu conflicts with Genesis theme mobile display. In the trouble shooting process, I checked off primary menu position in WP menu manager in hope that the theme’s mobile menu won’t be in the way. Then disaster happened. Somehow all my work customizing and setting up in mega menu is gone. Everything is wiped and went back to default state. This review is about the stability and reliability of the plugin. Imagine this happens to a live site in a surprise.

    hello @skylabb

can you please share a step by step to reproduce the issue and the plugin and themes activated ?

Hi, Genesis provides its own mobile display which I don’t want. So attempted different settings and configs to see if something works. One thing I did was un-assign the main menu in menu manager. And when I re-assigned the main menu, I notice all my menu items and settings for QuadMenu were gone – all reset to defaults. Hope this helps.
