• I’m using the Premium version this plugin successfully, however many of the features you’d expect to be standard cost extra, including many ways to filter, categorize, and customize the feed content. The additional Add-ons are a bit of a pain (they do have bundles), and I wonder if WPRSS would be better off just having an all-in-one solution that costs a bit more but was the comprehensive solution to RSS posting.

There is a place for add-ons—don’t get me wrong. In particular the spinning add-on would be my first choice for something non needed in the core plugin. Things like Feed to Post, Filtering, and Categories should be included in the Premium version in my opinion.

Still, a great plugin from someone who’s used several throughout the years.

Hi @avrant, thank you for the honest review!

We’d love some more explanation on your feedback. More specifically, how would you bundle everything in one premium version (and keep costs down)?

Just to note, post category functionality for Feed to Post is already included in that add-on. The Categories add-on, as explained on our site, is for categorising Feed Sources when using our Shortcode system (not importing as posts).
