• Hello

Some of your shortcodes are not working properly on my website.

On any grid list I can’t show any other datas than the title. I tried your shortcodes properly and nothing is never displayed.

More important, I have a problem to make my website multilingual.
I’ve made a movie single page with your shortcodes in french, but now I’m translating the website for an english version.
How can I use the english language for the labels?
Do you have a value to switch the shortcode labels language?

I tried to disable them with the label=”no” but it hides everything, not only the label but also the datas!

    Last small things :
    – you named a css .title, you should name it more specifically as it forces me to hardcode my template which has the same css all other it.
    – the grid css all centered… sometime I’d like to align the grid on left, would be great to be able to choose individually with a parameter
    – if I want 2 grids in the same page, it must be the same columns numbers if not there is a bug
    – only the orderby=”title” works with the main archive page and the alpha menu filter displayed
    – trailer integration doesn’t display a responsive player

Beside that, you’ve made an awesome job with this plugin very useful. Chapeau ! Keep up the good work.

I’m french, was not sure weither I should write in english or french

  • Bonjour,

Désolé pour le retard de réponse, beaucoup de travail en ce moment, ce qui laisse (trop) peu de temps pour assurer le support… Français également, mais je vais répondre en anglais au cas ou d’autres personnes seraient intéressées par la réponse !

Not sure about the multilingual thing, actually. The plugin uses the site current locale to translate Shortcode labels; if your site’s language is set to English, labels will be in English. Which Shortcode(s) cause(s) the label bug?

    – CSS title class: that’s right, though there should always be a wpmoly class along with it that you can use.
    – Grid alignment: not a bad idea, I’ll think about it.
    – Trailer not responsive: indeed. That plugin is still experimental and needs a lot more work to be really usable.

As for the other points about the grid, lets just said the Grid in its current state is a mess; it relies on permalinks which was a stupid thing to do in the first place. You can’t have more than one grid in the same page unless it causes issues including sorting, columns or pagination errors. Ordering isn’t working properly either, and display settings are a pain to use and maintain. That’s why I’m working on rebuilding the Grid for the next version; it will rely on JavaScript/AJAX to do the display, sorting, pagination and so on. Much more customizable and powerful 🙂
