@longbowdesign thank you. You are fortunately wrong. It works with any post types that are ‘hierarchical’ or have “Page Attributes” enabled. These two properties enables the ‘menu_order’ attribute required to define custom ordering.
It is different from some of the other plugins for custom ordering in this sense. e.g. it won’t force ‘Posts’ to have custom order, as it is neither hierarchical nor have “Page Attributes” enabled by default. “Posts” are historically chronological, which is not being changed with this plugin’s Custom Order module.
So, try modifying your custom post types properties / settings to either enable ‘hierarchical’ or “Page Attributes” and you’ll see them showing up in the Custom Order module settings.
That said, and if you’ve verified the above, please consider changing your three-stars ratings into something better. You’re the first person of 38 people giving this less than five-stars review, despite you seem to like all the other features. Thank you.

@longbowdesign thank you for changing your review to a five stars. When you have time, could you also update the review title? It currently still say “Great plugin but doesn’t quite make it”. Thanks and please hit the ‘Feedback’ link if you have one as you continue to use this.
