• Getting it to place ads between posts on homepage was a breeze. When I went to place ads on individual posts it took a while to figure out that I had to create a second block and nowhere was it clearly documented as such. I good bit of trial and error. All in all though, once you figure out how to configure the settings, this is a really good tool to have in your toolbox.

Thank you very much for the review!

On the plugin settings page there are many links to documentation pages including link to page with common settings.

It seems that some documentation needs to be clarified.
Can you please describe what information is not clear enough?

I had originally only set it to place ads between posts on the home page. When I decided to also place ads on individual post above the comments, I came back to the plugin settings and found it difficult to figure out what I had to do. I first simply checked the box for individual posts and saved it and tried to see if they appeared. I then came back and tried both of the other options in the select for individual posts. At that point, I noticed that the option above was set to between posts and looked at it and changed it to just before comments because individual posts do not have more than one so between posts did not make sense. That broke the homepage, which I noticed right away and then realized that I could not do both things in this one place. That is when I noticed the tabs at the top numbered 1 through some number and figured out that I had to set up a different setting. It took a while to then figure out that I had to place the adsense code in that tabs content area and set things up for the individual posts there. Then, I noticed that as I made changes, other checkboxes would get checked so it took a little while to get everything in place to display between posts on the homepage and before comments on individual posts.

I also started seeing / noticing how other things might work like the ability to apply filters and stuff so someday I may be trying to set up other areas for displaying ads as well.

I freely admit that I may have simply overlooked and links for help and was basically remarking on the setup not being intuitive. Like, the block for between posts on homepage, selecting those should disable the on individual pasts checkbox it would seem. But then, there are probably locations that could apply to the homepage as well and individual posts and individual pages so I can see why they are not radio buttons or disabled when one is selected. It just is not intuitive and perhaps there is not an intuitive way to manage the setting for this.

It is a very good plugin, all things considered.

    Thank you very much.

The user interface is different from other similar plugins as I wanted to have all the settings on a single page.

To make things easier I have implemented many debugging functions:
    https://adinserter.pro/documentation#debugging

I also prepared a complete user guide in PDF format:
    https://adinserter.pro/downloads/Ad_Inserter_User_Guide.pdf

It is over 100 pages as the plugin is pretty complex but once you understand basic principles it should be very easy to use.

I understand that for new users it may not be intuitive but there are links to documentation pages for quick start. I will try to add more help for new users.

    Thanks again for the feedback.
