About the zoom button:
any functionalities of the Lightbox overlay are managed by SwipeBox.
Other people is asking for the zoom/pinch functionality (see the Github issue), but still, it’s not avaible.
I will be happy to upgrade the script when ready!

It seems that there is a solution by @clixclix2 for zoom swipebox on the forum: https://github.com/brutaldesign/swipebox/issues/143
Maybe it could be implemented on your plugin 🙂
Besides it has been implemented in the latest version: https://github.com/brutaldesign/swipebox/pull/289
