  • This plugin works great. I believe a great deal of confusion or incompatibility may come from the way users are trying to implement it.

The plugin author is a savvy guy. If you’re having problems just make a post, he’s very responsive. I’m using it on two of my site’s pages and it works flawlessly.

If it just had a way to more easily implement it into WordPress themes like Dynamic Headers by Nicasio Design that has ceased update development, it would be awesome!

Hi, thanks for voting and the great review! Am not sure what Dynamic Headers do, or more precise, what you want to be able to do. There will be a full rewrite of the plugin in the future, so feel free to open an issue and let me know what kind of features you would find useful, this is really valuable feedback for me.

    Hi Timm,

In my last post I mentioned a plugin – Dynamic Headers by Nicasio Design because of a WordPress redesign I’m doing here > The site was designed in 2011 and the plugin was handling different header images for each page, with an swf animation in the header on the home page, and jpg images in the header on the other pages.

Now that I’m designing animations in Edge Animate, I’m replacing Flash animations. All update development of the Dynamic Headers plugin has stopped, and it doesn’t support oam files correctly. Almost, the last of my animation does display, but not within the header container…

If it were in the body content, or if I wanted the same animation on all of the pages, that seems easy enough to do. The theme being used is the Atahualpa theme that’s highly customizable, but now that I’m replacing the Flash animation and the plugin doesn’t support oam files correctly, I need another solution.

Maybe there’s a php hack I could do on the Dynamic Headers plugin, or another workaround. I just began this redesign yesterday, and am still exploring my options…
