• In my constant struggle to satisfy my OCD I found HappyFiles and it was love at first sight. It’s simple, clean, with a great UI and an even better UX. It’s the kind of plugin you never knew you needed.

    Hi @eusebiuoprinoiu,

That is exactly what I was aiming for with HappyFiles. Great UI/UX and performance serving this very specific purpose of organising you media library, and now with version 1.0 (PRO only) the ability to organise all your post types.

    Best,
    Thomas

Well, today I made the switch to Pro, not because I needed the Pro functionality, but because I wanted to show my support for developers like you who value UI/UX and don’t treat the WordPress dashboard as their personal billboard.

I’m sick and tired of plugins intentionally crippled or plagued with upsells and reminders that they have a Pro version (with countless locked/greyed-out options, multiple upsell pages in the admin menu or neon-pink menu labels made to draw people’s attention in yet another way to their upsells).

What stood out to me when I installed your plugin was that even though you had a Pro version, your upsell was very unobtrusive and respectful for the user’s dashboard. That, combined with a great UI, and I was in love…

I know this review is for the free version, but I’m telling you this because I want you to know I appreciate it when a developer is respectful and doesn’t sell his soul in the never-ending race to make more money. I hope you never change. You earned a place on the list of developers I respect, alongside Pippin Williamson and Sybre Waaijer.
