Great option for WP API authentication

    Currently using this plugin to authenticate with my website while using the Event Espresso 4 mobile apps, which uses the WP API to pull events into the apps.

    Base64 is completely unsafe. Subject of multiple hacking reports as the reason the site got hacked. Since the function is plaintext with zero encryption you opened a huge security hole to aid the hackers.
