 * I would say SMUSH is one of the better image optimization plugins available curently
   on WordPress. I have been using it for close to a month now and it works great.
   Really reduced the size of all my images. And this is just the Free version. 
   I can only imagine what the Paid version can do. Will look into it in the future.
