Support » Plugin: Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce » Great if not too many items per order

Plugin worked well for my purposes. I needed to fix a database where orders with more than one item was ordered. Each additional item is stored as a pack data string in an additional column. It would have been so much easier if each item was on a separate row (even if that means duplicating the common order info).

I also had some issues with the utf-8 characters – not sure where that crept in – no time to analyze.

Also, even though I checked the “Update order if exists” box, it created new duplicate orders – not a big deal as I was only doing a few, but annoying nonetheless.

Other than that, it worked well.

    Hi @samatva,

    Thank you for the review.

If there is more than one item in an order and the item data is provided in separate rows it will be imported as separate orders instead of a single order. Due to this reason the order items are required to be provided in separate line_item columns.

Our plugin accepts CSV files that are UTF-8 encoded. Kindly make sure that the importing CSV file is saved as UTF-8 encoded for a successful import.

Regarding “even though I checked the “Update order if exists” box, it created new duplicate orders “, kindly make sure that your CSV file contains order ID specified under the “order_id” column in order to update existing order.
